Luís Duarte

Pianist Luís Duarte focuses his artistic activity on the classical repertoire and the music of his native Portugal, which he approaches both as a soloist and in chamber music settings. His discographic work is largely centered on the interpretation of Portuguese composers. In 2021, Duarte released the album Portuguese Music for Piano Duo, recorded in collaboration with pianist Lígia Madeira. The album Fernando Lopes-Graça: Glosas; Embalos; Álbum do jovem pianista (2025) reflects this orientation, bringing together works characterized by structured writing and a close attention to Portuguese musical traditions.
