Julian Perkins

Julian Perkins is a vital presence on the early music scene, equally well-known as a conductor and keyboard player. He also plays a modern piano, sings, teaches, and is a noted researcher. He has a substantial recording catalog that makes use of his various capabilities. Keyboard music dominates that catalog, but in 2025, he conducted the Academy of Ancient Music in John Weldon's opera The Judgment of Paris.
