Gaétan Jarry
Biography
Conductor and organist Gaétan Jarry specializes in the music of the French Baroque. He is the founder of the Ensemble Marguerite Louise. With that group, Jarry released his debut album, Motets pour une Princesse, in 2015. In 2016, Jarry became co-titular organist of Saint-Gervais in Paris, the possessor of several historic organs. That year, Jarry and Ensemble Marguerite Louise began a residency at the Palace of Versailles, continuing to hold that position as of the early 2020s. In 2023, Jarry and the Ensemble Marguerite Louise released a recording of Marc-Antoine Charpentier's little-known opera David & Jonathas.
