Hugh Aston

Hugh Aston was a composer in the mid-16th century who received his Bachelor of Music from Oxford submitting his composition "Te Deum" as part of the fulfillment of his degree. Aston's compositions were ahead of any contemporaries because of his demonstrated ability to capture the essence of strictly keyboard music. ~ Keith Johnson
