Mojca Erdmann
Biography
Given the scope of the repertoire that soprano Mojca Erdmann has performed, both on-stage and in recital, it seems there is nothing she can't do. She has sung Pergolesi and Mozart, Takemitsu and Rihm, and a great deal in between. Luckily for audiences, she chose to concentrate on vocal studies as a teenager, setting aside the violin, which she'd also been learning. In 2010 Erdmann joined the Deutsche Grammophon label, and her first solo release was Mozart's Garden, with music by contemporaries of the master as well as by Mozart himself.
