In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was falling asleep as a four-year-old boy, my father used to practice The Italian Concerto by J. S. Bach. It made a huge impression on me. When I was ten, I tried to play this piece myself, it probably wasn’t very good, but it was fulfilling What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? D'Angelo, Voodoo Miles Davis, Kind of Blue The Beatles, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band Voodoo kept me busy for over 10 years: studying, analysing, listening, adoring. Kind of Blue is the most amazing jazz album ever. Bill Evans is king, Miles is God. The Beatles are the most inspiring band, opening the way for pop music to develop. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Almond blossom” I wrote this song about the painting. You can hear the beginning of life, the blossom opening up from a small bud into a beautiful flower. I got the chance to play it inside the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam; it was one of the highlights of my life.
