Christopher Lowrey

Countertenor Christopher Lowrey has developed an international career that extends as far afield as Australia and includes newly composed music as well as Baroque opera. He is also a conductor who has founded several groups, including the U.S. chamber choir Ensemble Altera. Lowrey's already sizable recording catalog includes releases showcasing him as a singer and as a conductor. In the latter category, he released the choral recording Dazzling Light with Ensemble Altera in 2025.
