The Sound and the Fury

Biography

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Being crammed into a spare bedroom in the late ’90s, surrounded by mismatched gear and rattling walls. When the noise suddenly locked into a song, we knew this was more than friends messing around...it was the start of a band. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Pearl Jam, Ten Soundgarden, Down On the Upside TOOL, Ænima Each record showed us a different way to balance heaviness, groove, and emotion while still writing songs that feel raw and human. Those albums shaped how we think about dynamics, restraint, and letting songs breathe without losing their punch. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Alien” It captures who we are right now (heavy but reflective, uneasy yet honest) and came together in a way that felt natural, not forced. Lyrically and musically, it embraces feeling out of place while still pushing forward, which is core to our DNA. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of our most memorable moments was realizing people still showed up and sang along after a long hiatus. Hearing those songs echo back at us from hundreds of people reminded us that what we started years ago actually mattered and still does. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Getting our music placed in film or TV, releasing records on our own terms, and playing shows that feel meaningful rather than routine. More than anything, we want the songs to outlive us and find people when they need them most.
