Soprano Melody Moore has been a fixture of American operatic stages and has also been heard in Europe. Her repertory ranges from Mozart to music of the present day, but her powerful voice is especially well suited to operas of the late 19th century. On recordings, she has appeared in Italian standards and also in several operas by U.S. composer Gordon Getty. One of the latter group was a 2025 release featuring the nonagenarian Getty's opera Goodbye, Mr. Chips.
