Bastien Rimondi

Biography

French tenor Bastien Rimondi has developed a career that brings together Baroque repertoire, contemporary creation, and song. Trained in Narbonne, Toulouse, and at the Paris Conservatoire, he quickly established himself in a variety of settings, from the operatic stage to the recital platform, with a marked affinity for works in which the voice plays a central narrative role. With pianist Timothée Hudrisier, Rimondi founded the Duo Florestan, which has received recognition in several competitions dedicated to French repertoire. This work informs a more personal approach to performance, reflected in recordings such as Mélodies françaises (2022) and Airs baroques français (2024), and a project devoted to Chevalier de Saint-George (2026).
