Costantino Catena

Pianist Costantino Catena often plays little-known Romantic works and has given world premieres of piano music by Ermanno Wolf-Ferrari. He is also a noted educator. Catena has performed at major world venues, including the Kennedy Center in Washington. Catena discovered unknown piano works by Wolf-Ferrari at the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek in Munich, edited them for performance, and gave their world premieres on the Brilliant Classics label with Davide Alogna in 2020. In 2025, Catena returned to Brilliant Classics, joining the Accademia d'Archi Arrigoni on an album of piano concertos by Antonio Salieri.
