The Binchois Consort

The Binchois Consort is a small vocal group specializing in music of the Renaissance, often in English music. The group is named for the composer Gilles Binchois but is unconnected with the Ensemble Gilles Binchois. The Binchois Consort is a small, all-vocal group featuring ten singers, including director Andrew Kirkman. The ensemble has a substantial recording catalog on the Hyperion label that includes the 2024 release Scaramella: Obrecht, Fitch, Brumel, Agricola.
