The ensemble Sounds Baroque collaborates with top singers, seeking to convey, in their own words, "the thrilling theatricality and intense passion" of music from the 17th and 18th centuries. The group is noted for creating pasticcio operas, works made of pieces by various composers. Sounds Baroque also performs contemporary music and carries out educational projects. The ensemble has made several recordings, including If the Fates Allow: Music by Purcell and His Contemporaries (2025).
