In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. We played straight-ahead jazz at first and then started experimenting with crossover music later. I became apparent that we could make memorable contribution to the musical landscape with our unique arrangements. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Charl du Plessis Trio, Baroqueswing Vol. I Charl du Plessis Trio, Shanghai Brunch Charl du Plessis, Pimp My Piano (Live) We feel proud of these three albums as it gives a clear overview of our capabilities as a jazz piano trio performing in various styles. Tell us why you chose this song. “Pay With Samba” This was the first song we ever recorded and this live recording in Switzerland remains our favourite. We love to perform Latin music and so many Classical and Baroque works lends itself to our arrangements where Bossa Nova and Samba takes the lead.
