Daniel Ottensamer

Daniel Ottensamer has gained attention as a soloist, as a chamber player, and as the principal clarinetist of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and the Vienna State Opera Orchestra. He has performed as a soloist with other major orchestras across Austria, Germany, and beyond. Ottensamer has had various chamber music collaborators, including, for a time, his father and brother in a trio called The Clarinotts. He has recorded in various capacities, and in 2025, he released the album Brahms/Koncz: Sonatas for Clarinet and Orchestra.
