Biography
Louisa Fuller is a British violinist who occupies a distinctive place in the contemporary music landscape, moving with ease between the discipline of chamber music and a pop/rock aesthetic. As first violin of the acclaimed Duke Quartet, her playing is characterized by clarity of line and a refined attention to sonic texture. Among her most representative recordings is her contribution to Max Richter's The Blue Notebooks, in which certain pieces, most notably On the Nature of Daylight, have achieved exceptional reach, extending far beyond the classical music sphere.
