Mime Yamahiro Brinkmann is a Japanese-born cellist whose career bridges European early music traditions and historically informed performance practice. Performing on both modern and period instruments, she has built an international profile through ensemble collaborations, recordings, and performances that focus primarily on Baroque and early Classical repertoire, particularly emphasizing ensemble performance and the continuo tradition, where the cello plays a central role in shaping harmonic structure and musical direction.
