Ekaterina Litvintseva
Biography
Ekaterina Litvintseva is a Russian concert pianist. A precocious child, she began playing the piano at age four, and studied music from 1994 to 2001 at the Children's Music School in Anadyr, Chukotka. At 15, her family moved to Moscow, and she attended the State Chopin Music School as a student of Irina Gabrielova's piano class. In 2006 she entered the Maimonides Classical Piano Academy, taking classes with Viktor Derevyanko, Alexander Mndoyants, and Ekaterina Derzhavina. In 2011, she studied at the College of Music and Dance in Cologne in the piano class of Nina Tichman, and graduated Master of Music with distinction in July 2013. Litvintseva has performed with various orchestras and chamber ensembles, notably the Klassische Philharmonie Bonn under conductor Heribert Beissel, with whom she performed in several of Germany's famous concert halls.
