Stéphane Fuget
Biography
Conductor and keyboardist Stéphane Fuget leads the innovative, historically oriented choral-orchestral group Les Épopées, which focuses on French Baroque music. Fuget founded that ensemble in order to realize his own ideas about the performance of Baroque music. He is also an educator who has developed vocal coaching and Baroque opera courses at the City Conservatory of Paris (CRR Paris). He has led Les Épopées and other groups on recordings, including a performance of Monteverdi's Orfeo (2024), and he also conducts conventional orchestras.
