Judith van Wanroij
Biography
Soprano Judith van Wanroij has emerged as a prominent figure in the world of French and English Baroque specialists, coming of age under conductors like Simon Halsey, William Christie, Kenneth Weiss, and Frans Brüggen, all of whom she has performed with. Her training encompassed both early music and mainstream repertory. Van Wanroij's recordings include several unusual Baroque and Classical-era operas, such as Antonio Salieri's Les Horaces. In 2024, she was heard on an Alpha recording of Gluck's Iphigénie en Aulide.
