In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. when I was a child...3 years old...a music box played some sweet melodies when I was in my bed...I remember that I loved very much that sound...and there was a carousel in the music box with a teddy bear who was dancing together with the melodies. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Ludovico Einaudi, In a Time Lapse Michael Riesman, Philip Glass, The Philip Glass Ensemble, Glassworks (Expanded Edition) Ólafur Arnalds, re:member choose these albums because they are my deepest inspiration. When I compose music, their influence is always present… the emotions they awaken in me guide my creative process, shaping melodies, textures, and atmospheres. Tell us why you chose this song. “The Magic World (Electric Guitar Version)” This piece is dedicated to my childhood and to the places that defined it—both physical places and places of the soul. In this waltz, I wanted to give sound to a magical world made of sweetness, dreams, and innocence. Giving deep emotions to you all What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? When I performed as a soloist at New York University and Yale University, I gave lectures and concerts, and the audience was fantastic! Playing in such prestigious places was a dream come true. Performing in Havana and Paris was wonderful as well! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I have collaborated with great musicians such as Philip Glass, Gavin Bryars, and Eric Mingus. My dream is to collaborate with Eric Clapton, Pat Metheny, Ólafur Arnalds, and Ludovico Einaudi.
